Bug Description
Binary package hint: shotwell
this bug has been split from bug 653807
"If I import images files from an APN (Canon Power...). Shotwell creates "events" folders inside its GUI and date directories on the disk (Images/2010/09/24, ...), images filenames are in upper case. I have renamed the files in lower case in order to import them on Wordpress which dialog allow only lower case extensions (no *.* option, their fault, I agree). there should be an option to ask Shotwell to choose lower case conversion when importing files from an APN."
