Bug Description

meaning that at every start of kajongg, all of its source code must be compiled again.

This should happen exactly once at installation time, as Jonathan Riddell told me, see

Thanks for reporting this bug and sorry for not responding in a reasonable time. As this works fine in precise, do you still have this issue and if yes please mention the release this doesn't work on? Thanks!

just 2 weeks ago I installed a fresh ubuntu 11.10 (virtualbox), and also installed kajongg.
11.10 still has this bug.

updatedb
locate humanclient.py
/usr/share/kde4/apps/kajongg/humanclient.py

now I installed the current daily 12.04 snapshot (desktop, 64bit) - only the basic
installation plus kajongg - and it now works as expected:

locate humanclient.py
/usr/share/kde4/apps/kajongg/humanclient.py
/usr/share/kde4/apps/kajongg/humanclient.pyc
