Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

gnome-display-properties has a button for systemwide settings, but systemwide save doesn't work. It works on fedora 14 with a monitors.xml file in /etc/gnome-settings-daemon/.
Maybe the file is located elsewhere in ubuntu, but SolvedSnake found here
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1579272
a solution for systemwide save:
mkdir /etc/gnome-settings-daemon
mkdir /etc/gnome-settings-daemon/xrandr
