Bug Description

Binary package hint: spyder

The Version of the Spyder Science IDE to be included in 10.10 is very outdated:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/spyder

Currrent version is 2:
http://code.google.com/p/spyderlib/

When is the last date to submit an updated package?

I couldn't find it on the wiki:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MaverickReleaseSchedule

Compiling works for me (Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal).

1) Downloaded spyder-2.0.6.zip from Sourceforge
2) sudo aptitude install sphinx
3) unzip and cd into directory
4) python setup.py install

Mate we never upload the .deb file.
And if a package is waiting for sponsorship than why double our work :)
There are many packages that needs update. Better pack them.

Reviewed this, corrected version string to use 0ubuntu1 instead of 0build1, and fixed the maintainer field with update-maintainer. Beside that, it looks good, so uploading

I still have one suggestion for improvement:
Could you please make the package recommend the "pylint" package as it
can directly be run from within the GUI (this is actually one of the new features
in version 2 of Spyder I believe). Thanks!
