Binary package hint: indicator-appmenu

The panel (indicators/menu) font color has a slight reddish tint compared to the menu item font color, which seems to follow the GTK theme. I'm not seeing this in a desktop session. Screenshot attached.

On a second thought: since this also affects other indicators (datetime, me-menu), it's probably not a bug in indicator-appmenu...

Changing to unity as this is hardcoded in 'unity-private/panel/panel-indicator-object-entry-view.vala'.

affects: indicator-appmenu (Ubuntu) → unity (Ubuntu)

its a temporary bug as the opened menu is going to have black color as in gnome-session

That still leaves the mismatch of colors between unopened items and the window title font (not the white one in the panel), the launcher's running indicators, and the ubuntu-mono-dark icons.

Can someone from team-Unity comment on the planned integration of Unity
and the theme?

We can't grab the colours from the theme as, if the user changes to another theme, they might end up with black menu text on the black panel.

Cimi already noticed this discrepancy and fixed it in one of this fixes branches which is in trunk now and will be part of this weeks release. Thanks!
