Bug Description

When you file a new bug, you're told to ensure that the bug hasn't already been reported

When you file a new bug, you're told to ensure that the bug hasn't already been reported. But if you click on the link, it takes you to Malone's frontpage, from where it's hard to search for existing bugs, especially for bugs on products.

The link should take you to a list of current bugs of the product/distribution, in which you're filing the bug.

Just clicking the "bugs" tab takes you to the right place of course, we just need that same url to appear in the body of the page.

In the long term it could perhaps help you do a search for the same bug having been reported in other packages, because it's not always clear where it should be. But being already reported in the same package is the common case.

That "of course" clicking the bugs tab takes you to the right place is not obvious. Having just filed a couple of ubuntu bugs, I did not do a proper search on a couple of them since the "Before reporting a bug, please ensure it hasn’t been reported already."-link pointed to the wrong place and I'm not familiar with the navigation.

Another case of pain that would directly be solved by bug 3620.
