Bug Description

Hi, Good Day!

I'm having a problem on Volunteer Management Module.
Everytime I clicked on the Volunteer Management Module,
I see a fatal error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function MoveNext() on a non-object in /mod/vm/model/dao.php on line 155

I'm working on Agasti 0.6.3

When I tried to run my sahana in my localhost, there's no problem in Volunteer Management but when I started to upload it in the internet, that is where that fatal error shows up.

You can check the bug here. This is where I uploaded my sahana website. http://sahana-davao.kom.ph

Hoping for a reply.
Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

I finally found out how this info is to be submitted,

Release Version:
Sahana Agasti 0.6.6

Source of Download:
Launchpad.net/sahana-eden

Operating System:
Windows XP SP3
IE 8.0

Database Environment:
Sahana: crane-0.4
Web Server •cpsrvd 11.28.64 Localhost via UNIX socket
MySQL client version: 5.0.91
PHP extension: mysql 3.3.8.1

Prerequisites:
User should be logged in to the system.

Steps:
1) Click ‘Volunteer Management' Fatal error: Call to a member function MoveNext() on a non-object in /sahana/mod/vm/model/dao.php on line 155

2) Click on 'Volunteer' Click on Assign to Project Fatal error: Call to a member function moveNext() on a non-object in /sahana/mod/vm/model/dao.php on line 945

The linked buttons on the left side of the page all give the above error with different errors in the associated dao.php file controlling this environment.

The following list details;
mod/vm/model/dao.php on line 155
mod/vm/model/dao.php on line 945
mod/vm/model/dao.php on line 466

All this happens while accessing via and internet connection as the application is sitting out on an internet link.

Kind regards and thank you in advance,

David.

Elson, David,

I've created a potential fix for this bug. If you could both test that it does resolve your problem and let me know that would be great. To do so you'll need to replace your version of mod/vm/model/dao.php with the one from my branch which you can download from here:

http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~andy-freeborough/sahana-agasti/krakatoa/view/head:/sahana-phase2/mod/vm/model/dao.php

There is a 'download file' button near the top of that page. It would be a good idea to create a backup of your version of mod/vm/model/dao.php file before overwriting it with my version.

Let me know how it goes - if you have any trouble let me know and we can sort it out.

Thanks,

- Andy.

Hi Andy,

I was facing the same problem as described above

('Everytime I clicked on the Volunteer Management Module, I see a fatal error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function MoveNext()')

When I replaced the dao.php with the file you uploaded, the problem disappeared.

Thanks a lot!

I installed sahana-0.6.3 yesterday.

MySQL
Server: Localhost via UNIX socket
Server version: 5.0.92-community
Protocol version: 10
User: englishl@localhost
MySQL charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)

Web server
cpsrvd 11.28.87
MySQL client version: 4.1.22
PHP extension: mysql

My OS is Windows Vista

There is one more issue:

When I log in as administrator and I click on administration I can see the system administration but there are no links to change any settings; i.e. the following points are all greyed out:

Locations Hierarchy
Add, modify and customized the affected locations and hierachies in the disaster
Mapping / GIS
Specify your mapping configuration and prefered mapping/GIS system to be used in Sahana
Module Configuration
Contains specific configuration pages for each module that has been installed in the system allowing them to be customized individually and seperately.
System Security
Allows the system administrator to configure who gets access to what modules and actions available in Sahana
Language and Locale
Translate the Sahana interface and terminology to a local language and that relevant for the disaster
Disaster Levels
Define multiple disasters, sub incidents and events that this instance of Sahana will handle
Config Tools
This section give you access to all technical configuration details and tools that can be changed in the system

Thank you for your help and many regards,

Juergen
