Bug Description

I use grouped mode all the time, exclusively. It would be nice to have a configuration option to start in this mode rather than having to hit Alt-2 right away.

I have a branch ready for this one too and will attach as soon as I can de-fsck the older bzr branch format with 2a format.

Ideally GTimeLog should remember the mode you used last time (and whether you had the tasks pane visible or not).

Gconf would be ideal for this, but I'm not sure if I want to add a gconf dependency to GTimeLog. GTimeLog is currently a cross-platform app that works on Mac OS X and Windows, and this distinguishes it from Project Hamster, which is very tied to GNOME (and probably better in all other aspects, especially development pace).

Anyway, the diff looks fine, feel free to push to trunk.

Hi Marius. I agree with everything you said in #2. This was the expedient way to get the behavior especially in the absence of a long term cross-platform configuration regime. Perhaps one way to handle it would be to write a state file using ConfigParser and read that in preference to gtimelogrc if it exists. Not integrated with gconf (on the relevant platforms), but it would work everywhere.

In any case, thanks for giving me dev rights. I've pushed this branch to trunk in r154.
