Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

software-center version 2.1.7

We need an icon for the "Other" item that is used for displaying those software items for which there is not an associated repository (see bug 524379 and Software Center spec https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter#channels ). Screenshot attached for reference. Thanks!

Daniel, I've discussed this with Otto and he said to assign it directly to you.

The icon should look less substantial than the icons for actual archives above it, without looking out of place below them. Perhaps a stylized serif question mark. Probably it should be the same icon as used for the "Not found" screen <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter#apt:package-name>.

I've attached an icon of a question mark consistent with other humanity icons that would indicate an unknown/other category.

Hi Daniel, thanks a lot for your work on the icon, it looks great. For today (UI freeze), we decided we could actually use icons from the theme. In the case of the "Other" icon, we are using "application-default-icon".

Not sure if we will revisit the icons if we want more customized ones, but if so, we can reopen.
