Binary package hint: aqualung

The libmpcdec3 binary package was incorrectly deleted from the maverick archive before libmpcdec6 was added (bug 598874, bug 610856), so now the following rdeps are uninstallable and need to be rebuilt:

When vlc is rebuilt against libmpcdec6, the new vlc version should be used too (1.1.2).

dummy9010: I assure you that you don’t. This bug manifests as an inability to install certain packages, but totem is not one of them. If you are having problems with Totem, please file a different bug, or a question at https://answers.launchpad.net/ .

The vlc update (vlc 1.1.1-1+exp1ubuntu2) solves the libmpcdec6 issue in maverick (fix released).
However, the new release of vlc (1.1.2) could have been used already.

I don't think the new version was upgraded because we're in freeze for
Alpha 3 and vlc is seeded for Mythbuntu. Don't worry, 1.1.2 will be coming.
