Can you run

lpinfo -m > ppd-list.txt

and attach ppd-list.txt (do not compress the file). Tell also which drivers for your printer are missing in the listing of system-config-printer.

Changed in gutenprint (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete
importance: Undecided → Medium
affects: gutenprint (Ubuntu) → system-config-printer (Ubuntu)

I have checked and for me all Foomatic-based PPDs are missing in system-config-printer. Is it also the case for you? Or are also others missing for you?

On switching the printer on Ubuntu correctly adds the R200 driver. But if you want to change it from simplified then the other driver is not in the list.

In fact the only epson drivers in the list are the ones show in the previous screenshot, i.e.about 26 . However ppd-list.txt shows them all.
