Bug Description
It would be nice if the WorkingTree was backed by a transport rather than direct file access. This would let us:
* eventually access remote working trees
* run on a memorytransport for faster testing
* run on top of transport decorators that do logging or that simulate various problems
Some wt code is reasonably well tuned so we'd have to be careful this doesn't slow things down.
