Bug Description

After the upload of Freetype 2.4.0 to Maverick FreeType manages to not render some glyphs in diverse OpenType fonts.

Fonts for testing: Vollkorn[1], Minion Pro[2].

[2] comes packaged with acroread in Partner repo.

This bug was fixed in the package freetype - 2.4.0-2

freetype (2.4.0-2) unstable; urgency=medium

  * debian/patches-freetype/opentype-missing-glyphs: fix from upstream for
    glyphs from OpenType fonts failing to render. Closes: #589256,
    LP: #605858.
  * Medium-urgency upload to fix important regression.
