Bug Description

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

Version: 1:0.99.22~0.9.21+stable-queue32-g8478-0ubuntu

Release: 10.04

Playing a .pls stream using different audio players (audacious, aqualung) resulted in the sound stopping after approx. 30 mins of playing, requiring the relevant application to be killed using signal -9. No errors were reported by the application.

Removing pulseaudio from the system resolved the problem.

This bug can be closed. I found it was related to the kernel I was using, rather than PA. linux-image-2.6.31-11-rt. reverting to linux-image-2.6.31-10-rt solves the problem.
