Bug Description
I'm having the same issue reported here:

Testdrive worked fine prior to the recent update a few days ago, so I'm wondering if the two are related. I tried a reinstall w/ dpkg but that didn't seem to fix anything.
Here's the full output from the terminal:
~$ testdrive

Could you please specify what Ubuntu version are you using? Where you connected to the Internet at the time of launching?
For the output the only thing I can think of is that it is an error with the connection to Launchpad to obtain the Ubuntu Development release name (maverick), and cache it, and since there wasn't any release cached, it would fail to start!
