Bug Description

Binary package hint: xubuntu-default-settings

I've removed the patch that did that from xfce4-session (in order to go further in providing a vanilla xfce for people who want it), so derivatives should ship a desktop file named xfce4-tips-autostart.desktop, containing:

[Desktop Entry]
Hidden=true

in their xdg config autostart directory (e.g. /etc/xdg/xdg-xubuntu/autostart/) in order to disable them.

    on login. lp: #584879
  * etc/xdg/xdg-xubuntu/applications/defaults.list: replace 'totem.desktop'
    by 'parole.desktop'.
  * etc/xdg/xdg-xubuntu/Thunar/volmanrc: replace totem by parole and brasero
    by xfburn.
