Bug Description

On a standard 1024x600 screen the settings dialog shows under the bottom dock (48px). The problem is probably because it is being centered by a compiz plugin. If I drag the dialog closer to the top panel there is a few pixels left between it and the bottom dock.

Can this be fixed somehow? Either by making the window span so it doesn't overlap any dock or is resized or is above any dock.

FYI, 1024x600 is anything but a 'standard' screen. If anything, 1024x768 is standard. :-p

It's standard for netbooks.

I'm reopening this one since the bottom and top "Drag to reposition" tooltips overlap the settings dialog. The top one isn't so bad since it only obstructs the title bar but the bottom one obstructs the "Delete Dock" button making it very hard to delete the bottom dock.

This bug was already released. Please do not reopen it. If you do not like how the current *release* handled it, file a new bug. (This helps us tracking bugs.)

Also, why did it take you over 2 weeks to respond? If I mark a bug Fixed and don't hear from the original author I assume it really is fixed.

Accepted docky into lucid-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!
