The logo needs to be altered so it is not a clone of ubuntu.com.

This will need to wait until the new Ubuntu font is released in which text will be added to make things acceptable. The actual Ubuntu logo will be able to be used.

This is fixed in r29. The top logo was fixed to reflect that it is a community based website and the bottom logo was removed.

I talked top Matthew Nuzum (newz2000) about this. It turns out that the branding issue is:
1) Using the exact same color palette.
2) Using the Circle of Friends in the logo.

This is being marked as Fix Released. The current code base has now been synchronized with drupal.org at 6.x-7.2. A new download package has been published on d.o.
