Transparent menu and missing words with nice_menu module and udtheme

Bug Description

Here is how to replicate the bug,

Install drupal, install nice_menus module, install udtheme, create some menu with the first word on the first menu shorter than the second. Also create menu with space and "-" sign. You can see that part of the menu is transparent, and we only see the first word. Try various combinaison, sometime the menu is ok, sometime its not.

Not sure about r33 but for UD Theme 2010 6.x-7.2 released on 2010-Jul-09 I am still getting this.
