Bug Description

1. 10.04 LTS Upgrade to 9.10

2. ?

3. Graphics to work properly. I had downloaded and installed ati Catalyst 10.3, in Terminal which was working properly. At upgrade, ati driver dependencies are broken, and I don't know how to fix.

4. First screen (Text) says that mount dev/ not found ??? Then when I try to boot from GRUB loader, it will only display in limited mode. I tried reinstalling ati catalyst driver 10.3 which was successful, but still get the 'broken' message

Sorry, I'm pretty green at this stuff, and don't understand much of the process for fixing the problem.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this bug as a bug in eglibc.
(With many applications, you can report a future bug directly on the appropriate package by opening the application's "Help" menu and choosing "Report a Problem". https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs)
