Bug Description

Binary package hint: debian-installer

When doing a net install with the netboot files for 10.04 on HP BL460 G6 blades with bnx2x onboard NICs the kernel is able to identify the first 4 interfaces one after another, but then takes 100 seconds between the remaining 6. It then cycles through again. Once it's done it's then unable to DHCP from eth0 and eth1, and only eth2 seems to work properly. HP BL460 G6 blades use logical ethernet devices, and should only have a count of 8 devices, not 10. It seems that the physical NICs are included (as eth0 and eth1).

Error that appears after 100 seconds is:
[bnx2x_wait_ramrod:7159(eth4)]timeout polling for state c0000 on IDX [1]

This does not happen once the system is fully installed and running locally, it only happens when doing a netinstall.

Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
Release: 10.04

apt-cache policy linux
linux:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 2.6.32.21.22
  Version table:
     2.6.32.21.22 0
        500 http://apt-dev/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages

uname -a:
Linux null-005056bb3144 2.6.32-21-generic #32-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 16 08:09:38 UTC 2010 x86_64 unknown

What I expect to happen:
Netboot and detect all ethernet devices in reasonable amount of time, then DHCP from eth0 to begin install.

What happens instead:
Netboot begins, cycles through first 5 devices quickly, then takes 100 seconds between the remaining 5 devices. It then does this once more before trying to do DHCP.
