Bug Description

Binary package hint: recordmydesktop

When selecting a non-maximised window to record (from gtk-recordmydesktop) the following error is produced.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/recordMyDesktop/rmdSimple.py", line 251, in __select_window__
    if wid: xwininfo_com = ['xwininfo','-id',wid]
UnboundLocalError: local variable 'wid' referenced before assignment

It will then record the whole of the desktop.

Could you generate a unified patch (diff -u <old> <new>) instead? Diffs of this kind can't be applied easily to the sources. Thanks.

I suppose this patch hasn't made it back downstream? Just tried this tonight and saw the same issue.
