Bug Description

I downloaded the Ubuntu Netbook Beta 2 iso twice, checked the md5sum which have been ok both times. But after burning the iso into cd I always get " No CD detected, cannot start CD menu".
If I run wubi manually from inside the cd I am connected to the internet and downloading the iso again.....

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and trying to help make Ubuntu better. However, Wubi's not technically an Ubuntu package, but a Windows program to install Ubuntu. As such, this bug doesn't belong in Ubuntu. I've marked it as bug in the Wubi project instead. Thanks again, and don't be afraid to report bugs in Ubuntu once you get it installed.

The other discs work, so it is not a wubi problem. The problem with the Netbook Edition disk is reproducible.

Actually I think this is a Wubi problem I can confirm and verify it still exists in revision 185. Wubi is calling for Ubuntu Netbook Edition.ico but the file is still called Ubuntu Netbook Remix.ico. This affects three icon files. I can rename them manually in the temp folder to get Wubi to continue but then it still goes online to pull the latest netbook iso then fails once again. I assume it has to do with the name change.

When it tries to start:
No such file or directory C:\Users\"User"\AppData\Local\Temp\py"random".tmp\data\images\Ubuntu Netbook Edition.ico
Can be bypassed by renaming to Ubuntu Netbook Remix.ico to Ubuntu Netbook Edition.ico along with two other icon files

When it downloads ISO:
Unbuntu Netbook != Ubuntu Netbook Edition

summary: - Wubi :No CD detected, cannot run CD menu in Netbook iso
+ Name change of Ubuntu Netbook Edition not reflected in Wubi

That makes sense. I just want to confirm that this bug still exists in the RC. Really should be fixed, as this will be the first, new windows users will see of Ubuntu.

I think it has to do with the isolist.ini in wubi.exe.

I've committed ecology2007's fix, thanks! It just needs Evan to kick off a rebuild.
