Bug Description

Binary package hint: console-setup

Computer: Asus Eee PC 1005 HA
OS: Ubuntu Netbook Remix 10.4 Lucid Lynx beta 1

While doing a system update (sudo apt-get update), computer freezes while updating console-setup package
(while "Setting up console-setup (1.34ubuntu13) ...").

After hard rebooting, while trying to repare, it freezes again and again...

Trying "sudo dpkg --configure -a" in a console outside X (Ctrl-Alt-F1) prints a "stacktrace" and computer reboots in 30s

Trying "sudo dpkg --configure -a" in a xterm freezes computer

Trying Ubuntu Update Manager freezes computer.

Going to reinstall and to try again...

I am also experiencing this bug on an eeePC 1005HA running 10.04 LTS Netbook Edition.
