Inkscape 0.47 r22583
Inkscape 0.47+devel r9295 on OS X10.5.8
The dialog 'Rows and Columns' can only be used in one window - if the dialog is opened in a second window within the same Inkscape instance, it is created with 0 size and is empty. Related console message:

The same happens with the 'Icon Preview' dialog.
Continuing to work after the 'Rows and Columns' dialog failed may lead to a crash when opening a new document window.

There were problems with a singleton from before GDL being used in two places, and with a selection pointer being used without checking for null.
