Bug Description

for Funston:

I learned today that the "scribew{n}.sanfrancisco.archive.org Scribe 1 machines are permanently gone. That means we have some cleaning up to do from old redrows on failed archive.php uploads from those machines.

These five items were never successfully uploaded; as the scribe copies presumably disappeared with the machines, they'll need to be rescanned. Please let me know when the new archive.php tasks have been submitted. (They'll sit in greenrow state until I pass the original redrowed ones.)

rsync no route to host
   breadstime00time
   contemporaryrese00lind

rsync no such file/directory
   deadcrazyjennyca00pick
   princeoftides00conr
   vikings00lafa

This item had been successfully uploaded; the original archive.php redrowed when it tried to delete the source files from the scribe. I've passed the redrowed archive.php, and the item is now deriving. But two more attempts had also been made to upload new scans from two other scribes, while the first one was in redrow. (The additional archive.php tasks are now in "brown" storage.) Those two copies now need to be deleted; they're on scribe2 and scribe3. Please let me know when that's done, and I'll clear the two extra archive.php tasks.

ssh connection timeout
   californiareales00west

The remainder I've been able to take care of myself; they're listed below just for your information:

Cluster dupe upload (previous copy had already derived, just passed the redrowed archive.php's)
   finishcarpentryb00newt
   gnatsofknottypin00peet
   gypsymort00mort
   hawaiimich00mich
   iheardthatsongbe00clar
   isthisplacelette00gril
   justforboysprese00wall
   mccarthymansenat00ande
   prisonerofmemory00hami

ssh can't delete book from cygwin machine (passed the archive.php redrow, item is now deriving)
   irislabongaboome00mahy

Update on californiareales00west: the copy on scribe3 is now gone, but the one on scribe2 still needs to be deleted.

All other actions requested above are still needed.

This bug has been lingering, awaiting action. I'm reassiging to Tarrence, as he probably hasn't seen it, and he handles most Funston bugs now...

Hey Hank, I checked scribe 2 and scribe 3. The item "californiareales00west" was not on either machine.

Thanks, it must have been deleted from scribe2 since I last checked and commented, on 4/16.

What about the five that had never successfully uploaded and need to be rescanned? (That's the first five mentioned in the original bug report.)

I have two of the books, and they will be rescanned.

I am looking for the remaining three.
