Bug Description

Binary package hint: xubuntu-default-settings

Gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio bindings suck (no notifications on volume change). Although it is pushed by gdm (or gnome-settings-daemon), we should seed explicitely gstreamer0.10-alsa, and reopen Bug #343692 (autoconf isn't worth a broken panel mixer plugin).

    etc/xdg/xdg-xubuntu/xfce4/panel/xfce4-mixer-plugin-5.rc: revert changes
    from 10.04.4, gstreamer pulseaudio bindings aren't really usable.
