trying to install xunbuntu on compaq presario R3000 laptop (sempron with nvidia video)

xunbuntu CD live running, tried to install, error on the last step

Connected to home network using ethernet

How tried to install twice, once with existing ext3 partitions from mandriva, another with new partition with ext3

Not sure how to attach syslog files
