[SRU] keepalived in karmic

Bug Description

Binary package hint: keepalived

1. The reason behind this is because keepalived 1.1.17-1 in karmic does not have IPVS support, which is a regression from Jaunty. So this SRU is needed to re-enable IPVS support in karmic. See [1]

2. The related bug and [1], have been already fixed in both Debian and Ubuntu Lucid by applying the same patch.

3. To reproduce please follow [1]. I've personally tested the before and after the fix and can confirm that this fix works as expected.

I've personally tested this and can confirm that this backport will fix the issue detailed in bug 496932.

If this is a regression from Jaunty, then this should be an SRU. If it's new functionality that wasn't there before, a backport is fine.

Guys,

pretty please DON'T create separate "SRU bugs" (it's the second case already today). Use the actual bug (bug 496932) and add a karmic task. This is explicitly mentioned in the SRU policy.

I've tested this update and works as expected. I've made a setup and tested that IPVS is loaded and working. I'm attaching a syslog showing the behavior.
