Bug Description
Binary package hint: transmission
When selecting the "Torrent location", the directory that's remembered for next time is its parent, which means that repeating the process for a number of torrents requires browsing the location every time.

I can't trigger this issue, and it sounds like the same possible GTK+ problem discussed in bug #505861
