Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-control-
After changing password and reboot, I could not login with my new password. The old password worked but I Ubuntu was unable to mount my directory, consequently rendering Ubuntu unusable. I saw two error messages and then just the desktop background with no menu. tty did work but I don't know how to use Ubuntu in that mode.
Looks like this bug was fixed in my current release 9.10 according to https:/
Basically it happen as described in bug 307019
I think importance should be set to high as I as a newbie used 2 weeks to find that I could use passwd (I couldn't use my computer).
