Bug Description

dists/dapper/main/debian-installer/binary-i386 has both Packages and Packages.gz (zipped version) - the installer gets the .gz, I don't see the raw version (100k) being used.

  delete uncompressed Packages file even if SECURED is not set; this should work now that LP #255545 has been fixed (LP: #51033)
