Freeze on sudo cat /sys/kernel/debug/usb/usbmon/0u

I'm trying to reverse engineer USB communication. Device 005 on Bus 001, a SONY camera. It freezes on this specific motherboard (nVidia chipset). It does not freeze on an Intel/Atom motherboard of a second computer. I suspect it has to do with chipset support but I lack the skill, experience and time to look into this.
