Bug Description

Binary package hint: kontact

When I create a meeting in Evolution I send mails to the participants
with the attached information. One of the usual participates, my wife,
runs Kubuntu and by that she uses Kontact.
She has the problem that she can delete the events in her calendar. Only
when I delete them and send the deletation by mail it gets deleted on
her. We tried everything we could, right-click->delete and others way,
all fail silently.

I have more information on this bug.
If the event is generated by another Kontact, it is the same, the receiving Kontact can't delete it.
Now, if in the receiving Kontact I edit the event and delete the participant (the owner of the receiving Kontact), then the event can be deleted.
I would say this might be worth reporting upstream, bugs.kde.org, right ?

I am closing this report for 2 reasons, 1) lack of activity, and 2) I cannot confirm/reproduce this issue. I just requested in IRC (which was a bad idea) to have someone create an event and add me to it. I got an onslaught of emailed event of which I accepted all of them and they went into the calendar accordingly. I was able to delete the event, and received only the message I posted above (screenshot). Once I clicked the edit button it deleted it without any problems.

I am using 7.04 with KDE 3.5.7.

If you feel this is still an issue, I urge you to reopen this report. Thank you.
