Bug Description

Binary package hint: luciole

When selecting export in DV format, Export does not work. The export is started the step 1/2 is done, but not 2/2.

Luciole python script rise the following exception

Luciole use mencoder for conversion to DV format.
To convert in DV format with mencoder, mencoder should be compiled with libdv support. But mencoder in karmic ( version 2:1.0~rc3+svn20090426-1ubuntu10) is not compiled with libdv . I ask the Question #90829 why is not compiled with this option.

In previous version of ubuntu, the dv export woks well because the version of mencoder used is the version from medibuntu , who supports libdv. At this time medibuntu does not provide a mencoder package for karmic.

DV conversion with ffmpeg seems possible, so a solution can be to use ffmpeg in place of mencoder for DV conversion.
