Hi!
I found the problem.

The solution is change the file:
/<email address hidden>/firefox-3.5-ast.jar/locale/browser/aboutCertError.dtd

The difference is this (diff command):
varela@varela-laptop:~/Escritoriu$ diff aboutCertError_old.dtd aboutCertError_new.dtd
0a1,4
> <!ENTITY % brandDTD
> SYSTEM "chrome://branding/locale/brand.dtd">
> %brandDTD;
>
varela@varela-laptop:~/Escritoriu$

I attachment the actual file in Ubuntu (aboutCertError_old.dtd) and the fixed file (aboutCertError_new.dtd). Please, update this important problem in our language in Ubuntu.
Thanks very much and best regards.

Moving to Firefox 3.5 for triage.
Thank you for reporting this to Ubuntu. This should have been fixed with the last round of language packages.
Could you please post the results of:
dpkg -l | grep language-pack-ast

affects: xulrunner-1.9.1 (Ubuntu) → firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu)

Iñigo, Marcos, Xandru,

Arne fixed the bug in stable releases as well. Could you try the latest PPA translations in Karmic and tell us if they fix this for you?

If they do, we'll then release them as karmic-proposed, if not, we might have to wait for the next automatic build of Karmic language packs to include the fix.

Thanks!

Hi! Well, I updated with the lastest PPA translations in Karmic, and all works fine... but I did more tests, then I can't confirm.

How can I purge and reinstall all packages for firefox? I want testing in a clean situation.
Thanks!
