Bug Description

Binary package hint: cryptsetup

When you remove cryptsetup with for example "apt-get remove --purge cryptsetup" it does not trigger an update of initrd, like installation of cryptsetup correctly does. There for the "cryptdisk-enable main process terminated with status 2" during boot. An "sudo update-initramfs -u" would fix this.

This bug was fixed in the package cryptsetup - 2:1.1.0~rc2-1ubuntu11

---------------
cryptsetup (2:1.1.0~rc2-1ubuntu11) lucid; urgency=low

  * Set FRAMEBUFFER=y in the file that we actually ship.
  * debian/cryptsetup.postrm: call update-initramfs on package removal.
    LP: #468228.
