Bug Description
Binary package hint: hplip
When doing a dist-upgrade from breezy to dapper, among numerous issues (my kubuntu-desktop not being reinstalled, inkscape not being reinstalled, etc), I found that hplip failed to install. So I try it manually and I see the same error:
albertca@ubuntu:~ sudo apt-get install hplip

I am also having a problem with hplip although this is on an upgraded dapper flight 5 install.
Below are the error messages I get on any apt-get upgrade. This has been happening for a while now although the printer was working fine befor that.
