Binary package hint: nautilus
I just did a fresh install of Karmic. My home's Examples folder has a piece of paper for an icon. Screenshot attached.

This happens to me too. I do not have a fresh install... example- content" . This feels wrong... Don't know if it was like this before, as I never use the example folder.
Furthermore if I access the example folder it goes to "/usr/share/
