Bug Description
Binary package hint: software-center
I just experienced a crash with aptd in Bug #452550 and tried to run software-center to see whether I could provide more useful information.
Software center started 'normally' with only the error messages associated with running any GTK or Qt app on a multi-user console.
(Error DBus) (Error ORBit)
I was able to enter a category and select an application. I clicked the install button, which remained depressed. The GUI remained present and unresponsive, and apport-gtk notified me of this crash.
