Bug Description
Binary package hint: yelp
Open up Pidgin IM or Empathy IM in Ubuntu 9.10 and Backspace in the empty text (Comment) box when you are typing a IM. Computer sounds off loud BIOS Beep Noise when backspacing in the textbox when nothing is in there, (probably to let the user no there is nothing else to backspace). The sound is irregular and not of the messenger environment. Sharp sounds like a warning sound that a computer would give out if somthing was wrong with the OS.
