Bug Description

Binary package hint: modemmanager

System: Thinkpad T400s with Ericsson F3507g

Kubuntu 9.10 with all updates.

Mostly the firt connect works. OK.

But if i want to connect a second time it doesn't connect and gives an error at /var/log/daemon.log:

modem-manager: Got failure code 100: Unknown error

I kill modem-manager and knetworkmanager and start modem-manager with --debug and write the output in an log (see attachment)

You see there that the first time it works and the second time it works not.

would be great if you could get a debug log like described here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingModemmanager

i think half of your modem lock reflects what happened during mm-test ... can you do this: start system cleanly... start modem-manager on console like in the wiki page. Then connect ..... everytime you have connected, hit enter a few times; then once you reproduced this, copy paste the full output to an editor, save it and attach here. Sorry, and thanks.
