I expanded the name to "Gerbv Gerber File Viewer". I think that's OK. Thanks a lot for all your suggestions, I really appreciate them (hopefully I'll learn to do this right and won't waste your time ;).

You ARE doing them right! And of course it's not a waste of my time, you're doing some fantastic work which will really make a difference to the people installing these packages. There's nothing more frustrating than installing a new program and having to try and run it from the Terminal because its not in the Applications menu...
