Bug Description
Binary package hint: plasma-netbook
After updating on October 6, 2009 I discovered that the icons for the applications was missing.
Using Kubuntu 9.10 Netbook with Plasma-Netbook.
Did a fresh install today October 7, 2009 to ensure that it wasn't my system. Worked find until I ran the updates. Rebooted and problem returned.

Same problem here. Toggling desktop affects off and on causes the missing application icons on the current screen to reappear. Once you click to a different set of applications and switch back, they are gone again. DarkwingDuck confirmed the same behavior on his system.
Marking hight because this is a major blocker on the usability of the application launcher.
