Bug Description

Binary package hint: desktop-switcher

I installed todays(30.9) desktop live-cd on to my Eeepc 900. Realizing that I should have installed the Netbook Remix image. So I thought that installing desktop-switcher would install ubuntu-netbook-remix. I tried changing to netbook-mode, but all that happened was the top panel went black and lower panel was removed. Nothing else happened except CPU usage went to 100%. That's because ubuntu-netbook-remix wasn't even installed. I installed it and after that everything worked fine.

 I checked around and found out ubuntu-netbook-remix depends on desktop-switcher. But desktop-switcher doesn't depend on ubuntu-netbook-remix.

We don't do the packaging upstream, so it only effects the package in Ubuntu.
