Bug Description

Binary package hint: kde-systemsettings

When trying to access to "System Services" in french, I get (translated) "Impossible to load "System services" module (...)".

If I change KDE's language to english, it works. Reverting back to french, it don't.

Can you install all updates and see if it is still not working. I just tried to reproduce the problem here and I can't get it to fail. Seems to work fine.

I can still reproduce it.

This is probably "personal bug", as I saw other persons having similar bugs, with other modules (or languages).

I found a solution :

''Downgrade'' the package language-pack-kde-fr-base to version 1:6.06+20060427, and Services System panel works fine.

When I install the up-to-date version 1:6.06+20060511, and the bug is coming back...

Eric, can you please open a console and run "systemsettings" from there. Then try system services and then report any error messages in the console here.
