I see this now with a default LVM server installation using http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/info/3141. It does not happen with non-LVM install. Attached is dmesg for fresh default LVM installation in kvm virtual machine using 2 VCPUS, 384M of RAM and 1024M disk.

From the upstream bug it appears that these messages are benign and safe to ignore. Jens implies he will drop those message in future. I cannot yet see that fix in mainline.
