Bug Description

Tahoe-LAFS is an open source, secure cloud storage platform. All files are transparently encrypted, integrity-checked, and erasure-coded so that the servers cannot read or modify the file contents. Tahoe-LAFS is already mature and in wide use, and is already available in the form of .deb's.

The home page of the project is http://allmydata.org . The instructions on how to build Debian packages from the source code is at http://allmydata.org/trac/tahoe/browser/docs/debian.txt . The current status of Tahoe-LAFS support on various versions of Debian and Ubuntu is at http://allmydata.org/trac/tahoe/wiki/DownloadDebianPackages .

According to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages , the next step after opening this ticket is to assign this bug to oneself and set it to "In Progress" state, then upload it to REVU https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MOTU/Packages/REVU and then link to the REVU page in this bug. Hopefully Brian Warner will do this step later today.

Brian Warner uploaded a Tahoe-LAFS package to REVU yesterday evening (Monday, 2009-08-24 in UTC-7). It hasn't appeared yet on the REVU site. Is there some other step we need to take to make it appear there?
