Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

I can see from launchpad that the package was deleted:

# Removal requested on 2009-06-08.
# Deleted on 2009-06-08 by Steve Langasek
(From Debian) renamed to xserver-xorg-input-synaptics; only provides obsolete packages

However, there is no alternative to it, and I think that the deletion should be of the obsoleted xorg-driver-synaptics, and not of xserver-xorg-input-synaptics. To use the touchpad on my Aspire On while running the lpia port, I have to download and install the deleted package.

This is a huge bug, I had to force the i386 version to install to allow me to use my touchpad.

I think it has been deleted my mistake.
