Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Description: Ubuntu 9.04
Release: 9.04

version 2.0.0.21 (20090409)

Using the "Move to 'xxxxx folder' Again", proceding to renaming that folder will function, but the "Move to 'xxxx folder' Again" will still move the emails to the folder's previous name.

I was expecting the renamed folder's name to update upon right click.

The folder name does not update for the "Move to 'xxxx folder' Again" feature.

This causes the emails to be lost in a non-accessible folder. Creating the non-existing folder is also impossple, because it "already exists".

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
Dependencies:

DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
Package: mozilla-thunderbird None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/mozilla-thunderbird.list]
PackageArchitecture: all
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_CA.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: thunderbird
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic i686
UnreportableReason: This is not a genuine Ubuntu package

pretty close to territory of Bug 483861 - "Move To X Again..." moves to a non-existent folder if folder has been deleted

... because this bug has potential to appear to be dataloss, like Bug 483861.
1. move mesage to folder A
2. rename folder A > B
3. for any message, do move again
4. message moved to folder A

But folder A isn't the UI, until one restarts thunderbird

Wondering if the fix for this broke the functionality if the target folder _is not_ renamed? I just upgraded to 3.1.1 on Windows XP and the "Move again ... to" option in the context menu is permanently disabled. I don't have ReminderFox installed, so it's not related to that bug I saw mentioned somewhere. Thanks for any feedback.
